Technology today affects every aspect of modern society.  Technological breakthroughs are revolutionizing and changing the structure and organization of health. One of these breakthroughs that is gaining rapid popularity is binaural beats. According to wikipedia binaural beat is an auditory illusion perceived when two different pure-tone sine-waves both with frequencies lower than 1500 Hz, with less than a 40 Hz difference between them, are presented to a listener dichotically (one through each ear).

With binaural beats, these sounds are changing the brainwaves by learning meditation and relaxation techniques by taking over the cognitive process. Binaural beats effectively entrain and synchronize your brainwaves to enhance any specific brainwave pattern. It allows you to rapidly enter states of relaxation, focus, high-energy, or meditation whenever you want.

According to this study, there are a lot of benefits that are tied to repeatedly listening to binaural beats and taking control of our thoughts. When our brain listens to different hertz, it is able to perform activities at a more enhanced rate than before. For example: When we listen to alpha rhythms, we are able to slow our brain waves down for optimal performance and super learning.  We are better at analyzing complex situations, learning new information, and memorizing data.

When we listen to beta waves, we are able to increase concentration and alertness and improve logic thinking and critical thinking. Depending on what you want to improve or enhance, you will listen to different hertz and beats in order to combat and sway your thoughts.

I believe this therapeutic tool for modifying mood states is very effective because of my personal experiences with it. I love using apps to listebrain_responsen to these differing beats because I can feel myself relax and think more clearly after listening to them. They really work for me and I know that most of my friends have also seen success in repeatedly taking the time to listen.

There are many different apps and technological advances out there that help with mood and improve sleep quality. This website shows a plethora of different ways in which aid your mind to help sleep better. All you have to do is research and figure out what suits you if you’re having trouble sleep or want to enhance your sleep state. Personally, I like listening to these meditation sounds because they help me but I know that may not be the case with everyone. I think that it’s really important to understand what works for you and what your needs are.
