Twitter is a social media website used to share similar likes, interests, and thoughts of the users. These messages are known as “tweets” which is restricted to 140 characters per “tweet”. Users have to be registered to the website to post personal “tweets”, without proper registration to the website, users can only view and read other’s posts. Twitter is available through any device with internet access and cellular phone application.

Throughout the two week span of running the OzHealth twitter page, we gained 41 new followers to our page. We also started following 37 new twitter pages within the two weeks. We worked extremely hard to post more than once a day to keep our followers interested. We increased the amount of Tweets and in result gained a lot of new followers. We ended our two week span with a total of 221 Tweets, following 83 pages, and 59 total followers.

Personally, I do not use twitter in my free time like I used to. However, I did enjoy working with the OzHealth twitter page. I found a lot of new and interesting information regarding health and technology. I took the time to read in depth about certain health and technology pages that interested me. The Ted Talks were very interesting and I would recommend our Twitter page to someone looking for health tips using technology. In order to keep this Twitter page running successfully I think updating photos, tweets, and retweeting several times a day will keep the followers interested. If the followers feel drawn to the information posted or the overall look of the page, the Twitter page will continue to grow. Screen Shot 2017-03-02 at 1.55.23 PM.png
