Technology plays a dominant role in our lives, almost to the point that it controls us. With the addition of wearable technology and the advancements in fitness trackers, they now play an even larger role in our lives. Technology has a very strong influence on physical activity. Products like videogames, computers and television require our focused, and usually seated attention. Technology like this lowers our activity levels which can negatively effect our health. The addition of wearable technology allows us to incorporate technology without negatively effecting our health. Some may even say that it can enhance our health. With the ability to track our sleep patterns, heart rate and exercise levels we are able to further watch our health.
